Roles & Responsibilities
Job Objective: Responsible for the overall Administration and smooth functioning of Welfare activities of Camp & Facilities Management Project including protocols for Administration, Social Works, Human Rights, Grievance Management, Dispute Resolution and other Welfare related matters in line with Project and Welfare policies, procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage the administrative & Welfare department operations and staff members to ensure the business operates in a smooth, efficient manner.
- To develop effective compliance and enforcement mechanisms for the Workers Welfare Standards including policies, protocols and systems for integration, enactment and enforcement.
- Manage and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a timely and fair manner. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to administration and welfare.
- Establish and enforce department regulations, guidelines, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop, analyse, review, and implement administrative department systems and controls.
- Create, review and report department data and using this information to solve potential problems or strengthen performance.
- Ensure effective execution of the Workers welfare Standards and their associated policies and protocols throughout the programme
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of administrative and welfare programs. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in administration and welfare to continuously improve processes and initiatives.
- Contribute to the on-going enhancement and publishing of the Workers welfare Standards
- Contribute to the development of the Workers welfare Progress Report
- Provide induction to new employees on Workers welfare Standards
- Planning and implementing suitable training programs. It involves developing the participants' physical and psychological fitness and providing the best possible practical conditions in order to maximize their performance.
- Monitoring staff turnover and attrition. Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, identifying trends.
- Supervision on staff movement – new arrivals, vacation, exit, and inter transfer.
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
