Position Title: Freight Forwarding Officer

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: up to 12K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:

A Dubai based international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe

Job Description:

Manage back office functions – data organization, filing, documents for submission, and new client account files.
Responsible for closure of files for completed projects.
Manage the daily cargo operations via documentations and communications with agents who are based in Africa.
Monitor and track shipments in real-time to ensure on-time delivery.
Generate regular reports on shipping activities, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of freight forwarding operations.

Skills

Qualifications:

Open to Asian and African nationals
35 years old and below
Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding experience as a supervisor, import supervisor / export supervisor, network freight forwarding, documentation and backend
Experience in Africa market is a plus
