Charterhouse are currently managing a search for an international commodity trading organisation; whom are in the process of looking to identity a Compliance Analyst of Know Your Customer (KYC).
This Analyst, in support of the Compliance Officer, shall be responsible for the execution and oversight of all documentation activities pertaining to both existing and new business partners whilst also undertaking the research, linking to KYC policy and/or regulation, along with any market analysis and due diligence monitoring reflective changes and risk assessments.
Internally, this Analyst shall play an interactive role, in support of the front office trades, to ensure that all data pools are collated and analysed in light of sanction matters, compliance red flags and any applied regulatory frameworks.
In conjunction, this Analyst will also manage any information or documentation gaps, in terms of reporting any escalated transactional risk to the Compliance Officer.
The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified compliance professional, whom is able to deliver a baseline of up to three years of experience, within a KYC-focused role within either a commercial and/or financial services organisation. This Analyst shall also be able to deliver a strong insight to regulatory monitoring and the subsequent reporting within accurate and timely structures; to ensure all compliance (within the KYC piece) are met and adhered-to.
The client will look towards candidates whom are able to demonstrate exposure and strong experience to international practices; with a gearing towards cross-border transactional activity and trades within well-regulated jurisdictions. In addition, an understanding and appreciation of a trading and/or commodities distribution platform will be a distinct advantage in terms of inception and knowledge transfer to deliver within this critical and technically-based support role.
