Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Quantity take-off of new items from relevant drawings and Claiming variation quantity to BOQ original.
Reviewing the project-contract & drafting letters related to Claims, Certification & Payment.
Submitting notice of claim (NOC) for change in design with highlighted drawings upon Issuance of DVR (Design Variation request) from design team before claiming for additional works.
Studying the impact of all the Design changes received from the Contractor based on revised Commented Shop drawings, IFC drawings, latest specifications & Engineers instruction.
Responsible for cash flow reports and Preparing quotations for additional works upon request after TOC received.
Preparing and Claiming of Interim Payment application (IPA) on monthly basis with all Substantiation to Contractor for approval and to get interim payment certificate for the monthly progress work done.
Documentation of all projects including all letters, IPA-logs, VO logs, cash flow & budget resources utilization.
Submitting Variations Claim on timely manner with marked-up drawings with necessary correspondences.
Substantiating VO and obtaining Evaluations/approvals/amendment from contractors on timely manner. • Assessing and preparing payment certificates for all subcontractors’ progress claims & Setting final accounts. • Preparing monthly Cost Report based on fabrication, Installation and Cost incurred for material, Staff, Labour, Plant machineries and preliminaries on the project to control the budget resources and cash flow. • Preparing Credit control reports for all projects to trace monthly Claim, Certification and due payments. • Cost Controlling as per available resources consumption against allowable budget for the project. • Monitoring and keeping records of payment Logs for all Cost booking and purchase orders against budget. • Providing solutions on Extension of Time Claim to the Planning department as per Contractual conditions. • Responsible for preparing of prolongation Claims and Final Account for the project. • Attending site & commercial meetings with Clients/Contractors for Variation evaluations, claims and final account.
